Most legal AI is a feature.
Ours is a firm.

Built and owned by exceptional attorneys.

An AI law firm, in four layers.

01

Built by elite attorneys. Run as a system.

The firm at work.

Above the frontier LLM sits the Agentic Layer: purpose-built agent systems that draft, redline, structure, compare, flag, and verify. Each is designed by Sam and Matt and informed by their 25+ years of combined experience across Big Law and growth companies. That experience (knowing which questions matter, which positions hold up, which issues to flag) is the difference between a law firm and a chatbot.

There are agent systems for revenue contracts. For vendor and licensing work. For governance and corporate matters. For employment, equity, and compensation. For privacy, security, and AI-specific compliance. Each is multi-step (plan, draft, check, compare, flag), not a single prompt and a single answer. Each is benchmarked against the firm’s accumulated playbook of accepted positions, market terms, and prior engagements.

We run on whichever frontier LLM is currently best for the task. The model provides language ability. Everything that turns it into legal work (the workflow, the playbook, the standards, the verification, the agent-by-agent design) sits here. It is proprietary to Talairis: built by our attorneys, owned by the firm, refined by decades of experience, not licensed from anyone and not available anywhere else.

This is what a competitor with API access cannot replicate by tomorrow: years of legal craft, encoded into how the work actually runs.

02

Built for Your Company.

Held by your law firm. Used only on your work.

The Client Genome is the structured legal picture of your company: curated by Talairis attorneys, deepened over time, refreshed with every engagement. The work we do always starts here, not from a blank page.

It captures your formation and governance, your active and historical contracts, the positions you have taken, the IP you hold, your privacy and compliance posture, your financing terms, plus the operating realities that no document alone can describe. The structure, the curation method, and the way it feeds into every layer of the firm is proprietary to Talairis: built by attorneys for legal work, not a generic database with a legal label.

The right context is everything in driving the best legal advice. And it does so programmatically, behind the scenes. Every agent in the Agentic Layer pulls from it. Every partner — your Trusted Counsel — reviews against it. Your company profile is part of every output, automatically.

This is what a generic chatbot cannot have, by design: the structured, current, attorney-curated picture of your specific company.

03

Where judgment and experience live.

The elite attorney is not optional.

No deliverable leaves the firm without attorney review. A named legal leader is assigned to every engagement. With careers built across Big Law and senior inhouse legal roles at billion-dollar companies. The legal leader is your point of contact, your strategist, and the licensed attorney whose name sits on every output. They are not auditing the agents from a distance. They use them.

Counsel shapes the strategy upstream, sets the legal positions the Agentic Layer is run against, reviews every output before it leaves the firm, and signs the work. Bar accountability and attorney-client privilege both stay where they belong: with a licensed attorney whose name is on the deliverable.

Their judgment also shapes the layers below. Decisions made on a particular contract, positions taken in a negotiation, and edits made in a review deepen the Client Genome for the next engagement. The firm gets better the same way a partner does: through experience, applied to real work.

This is what a tool, on its own, will never be: a law firm with a partner who is accountable.

The frontier LLM is the foundation. Three attorney-built layers above it make Talairis far more than an LLM. Together: the Talairis AI.

The LLM is the easy part.

The hard part is building a firm around it. Most options for legal work today come from two places. Each has structural problems Talairis was designed to solve.

Traditional law firms

Built for a pre-AI world. Senior partners bill $1,200 to $4,000 per hour, layered with associate and paralegal hours, every layer billing on the way. There is no Agentic Layer: AI bolted on top doesn’t change the underlying model of expensive human production. There is no Client Genome: your company knowledge is fragmented across the team and never consistently useful. Slow, expensive, and stacked with production work that AI could eliminate. Bill more hours, on more people, for longer.

Legal AI tools and DIY

Chat assistants, document review SaaS, ChatGPT wrappers wearing law-firm branding, consumer AI used directly. They share three problems: no accountability, no or unclear privilege, no continuity. There is no Agentic Layer: a chatbot is a single prompt, not a multi-step attorney-built workflow benchmarked against a playbook. There is no Client Genome: every interaction starts from a blank prompt with no structured picture of your company. There is no Trusted Counsel: no licensed attorney reviews the output, no partner is accountable for what reaches you. They cost less than a firm because they are not a firm. Every AI tool disclaims liability for legal advice. Every prompt and uploaded document is potentially discoverable in litigation or due diligence. The risk is yours, in full.

Talairis is different.

Our AI was not bolted onto an existing law firm. Our law firm was designed around it. Three attorney-built layers. Owned by Talairis. Not licensed. Not for sale. Not replicable by swapping the model tomorrow.

Asked and answered.

Is this just ChatGPT or Claude in a wrapper?

No, and we get the question. Most legal AI is exactly that. Even at traditional firms, many attorneys are just throwing client work directly into consumer LLMs, with no firm-level system, no structured picture of your company, and unclear privilege protection. A wrapper takes a chatbot and adds a logo. We did the opposite: built three attorney-owned layers above the model. The Agentic Layer (100+ agents and skills built by elite attorneys), the Client Genome (built for your company, held by your firm), and Trusted Counsel (where judgment and experience live). The model is replaceable. The firm isn’t.

Does my data train your AI? Does it leave the firm?

We do not train AI models. The infrastructure that handles your work (cloud, AI, and communications) runs on a limited set of enterprise-tier vendors, all operating under commercial agreements with confidentiality and no-training contractual commitments. Every AI tool, every API, every vendor we work with meets these criteria. Without exception. Internally, we may use de-identified and aggregated information from our work to improve our agent systems, templates, and benchmarks, the way every law firm has always built know-how. Identifiable information about your company and any matter stays confidential, privileged communications are never used for any purpose other than your representation, and you may exclude any matter from internal de-identified use at any time.

Who is liable for the work?

A licensed attorney, specifically the named partner on your engagement. Big Law lawyers and former GCs at billion-dollar companies shape and own every deliverable that leaves the firm. Bar accountability and attorney-client privilege stay where they belong. AI tools disclaim legal-advice liability; we do not, and we cannot.

What happens when your AI is wrong?

It gets caught. By design. Before any output is presented, the Agentic Layer runs structured checks against the firm’s playbook. Before any output leaves the firm, a partner reviews and signs it. Two layers of attorney-built scrutiny stand between any model output and your inbox. AI errors are not treated as a normal cost of doing business at Talairis; they are caught upstream of you. Every deliverable that reaches you carries a named partner’s accountability: the same accountability that has belonged to the lawyer signing the work for as long as there have been law firms.

Can you actually deliver faster than Big Law?

Yes, and not by cutting corners. We are faster because Big Law’s pyramid is mostly production work that associates do by hand. Our Agentic Layer does that work in the background. Your partner spends their billed time on judgment, not first-draft labor. The result is dramatically fewer hours for comparable or better quality, at a rate already lower than Big Law.

Why won’t you tell us which models or tools you use?

Our clients see the full picture. As part of every engagement, we walk through our architecture, models, controls, privilege protections, and security posture. In detail. What we do not do is publish that on a public website. Two reasons: security (we do not broadcast our architecture to the open internet) and the proprietary nature of our law firm. Talk to us and you will know everything needed to have complete confidence in the firm and its tech stack.

Want to see what this looks like for you?

Send us your info. We’ll walk you through the firm from the inside: how the Agentic Layer runs the work, how the Client Genome is built for your company, how your Trusted Counsel reviews and signs. The architecture, the models, the controls, the privilege protections. In detail. The first call is with a senior attorney who will be on your work, not a sales rep.
